What is Arisegen?

Arisegen is a project that was launched by Tyron and Lucy Ivins in 2019 with the vision to see a proudly South African, youth led, worship team that would inspire and lead children their age and younger into a joyful response of worship to God. The concept was simple. Audition a bunch of teen singers who loved Jesus and loved singing, write some praise songs and then gather children for praise concerts. The project was a huge success and managed to release an EP with original songs written to inspire a generation to worship.

2024 presents us with a new opportunity to audition an all-new band and set the project in motion again. Arisegen has partnered with Sonar Music SA and Scripture Union South Africa (KZN) to give it the environment it needs to be most effective. We are now calling all young people between the ages of 13-18 who are passionate about Jesus and singing, to apply to be a part of the new band and recording project.

13-18 years old

An active member of a local church.

Be able to sing.

Be available for recording and touring.

WHAT NEXT?

The panel will pick the finalists.

You will be asked to come in for a final audition.
